How do I confirm my registration?

Check your e-mail. All race registrations are confirmed via e-mail, sent a few moments after you registered.

When is race package pick up?

  • Packages can be picked up at the Persephone Theatre lobby (100 Spadina Crescent East) on Thursday, June 24th from 9:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Friday, June 25th from 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Race day pick-up by special arrangement only through here.

How many hydro stations will there be?

The Mogathon will include hydro stations at least every 2 km. For the family 2K, expect to see at least one. Have fun!

If I enter the 30K event or relay, 10K or half marathon race, can I participate in the 2K family walk/run for free?

YES YOU CAN! All registrants of the 30K event or relay, 10K or 21.1K can join their family and friends in the 2K event. Have fun!

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking downtown.  There are impark lots close to the race site, as well as metered spots along the streets.  Grab your cell phone and pay by cell.  It’s easy.

What time will the race site be open and when is my event?

  • The race site will be open at 7:00 a.m.
  • The 30K event and relay race begin at 8:00 a.m.
  • The 21.1K race begins at 8:30 a.m.
  • The 10K race begins at 9:00 a.m.
  • The 2K family walk/run begins at 10:30 a.m.
  • The post race BBQ will be available from 10:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

What is a chip corral?

At the end of the race, volunteers need to remove your timing chip. Right after you finish, people will be waiting near a bench. Give us your foot. We’ll take care of the rest!

Can I get a refund?

For planning purposes, all registrations are non-refundable.

Can someone else wear my number?

We prefer that you run if you registered. If you want to give up your best time and the bragging rights to someone else, it’s your call.

What do Mogathon participants receive?

  • 2K family walkers and runners receive the full post race BBQ
  • 5K relay runners receive the post race BBQ, Mogathon running hat and shoe bag
  • 10K runners receive the post race BBQ, Mogathon running hat, shoe bag, and short sleeve cotton T
  • 21.1K runners receive the post race BBQ, Mogathon running hat, shoe bag and short sleeve tech T
  • 30K runners receive the post race BBQ, Mogathon running hat, shoe bag and long sleeve tech T …and lots of FUN!

Do you allow participants to wear headphones (iPod’s, MP3 players, Walkmans, CD players, etc.)?

It’s a good idea to go wireless on race day for your safety and the safety of others. If you must, please use one ear-bud only, and keep the volume low enough to be able to communicate effectively.

What is the overall elevation of the course?

What kind of running surfaces are on the course?

Going north from River Landing, most running surfaces will be asphalt, with some concrete.  Those runners in the 30K event will run on some packed gravel near the Riversdale loop. Have fun!

All finishers receive medals…and lots of FUN!

Where and when can I see my race results?

Do I have to wear my official Mogathon shirt during the race?

What you wear is up to you! Just come out!

What is the “I’m running for” campaign?

On the website, participants have the option of letting us know why they are doing the Moga! Simply click on the link, fill in the blank, and send! You can also choose to upload a picture of yourself. Random ‘I’m running for’ messages and photos will appear on the site! ‘I’m running for’ messages will also appear on a wall at the race site.

What is live video feed?

You’ll be on the big screen at the finish line. Remember to smile!

Is there a post race BBQ?

A post race BBQ is included for all registrants.  Non-participating family and friends want to join in too? No problem:  Extra BBQ tickets will be available for sale during race package pick up and on race day as well for just $10!  Mmmmmm…Mano’s!
